The Extended Kindy Program, lead by a qualified Early Childhood Educator, gives children the opportunity to continue their learning with the flexibility for families of a longer day at kindy. Extended kindy program educators work closely with educators from the core kindergarten program to ensure that there is a continuity of engaging learning experiences that are reflective of the kindergarten philosophy and extends on the interests, ideas, skills and knowledge of the children.   The Extended kindy program follows the Early Years Learning Guidelines and the Qld Kindergarten Guidelines to provide a high-quality educational program that focuses on each child reaching their full learning potential.  The program includes a routine of outside play, afternoon tea, and inside play with the small group setting facilitating the opportunity for children to experience one on one time with educators. Children enrolled in the extended program can be collected at any time before centre closure.
